The Safe Sex Expo

The Safe Sex Expo is really about a guided entry into the gateway of pleasure expansion. For some, the kink/BDSM and Sex Positive worlds can seem all too intimidating. With little to no experience, or even knowledge of what’s out there, it’s easy to enter an environment and experience sensory overload depending on the space. So what do we do as people who may find the porridge to be too hot or too cold? We find teachers capable of conducting a temperature check on us and make us feel safe to take in a spoonful and say “that ain’t for me” or “Yes and more please”. The Safe Sex Expo is about just that. The purpose of this space is to introduce folks who may be curious about kink (whether single and dating or in a relationship) to add little bit of spiciness that is within manageable limits.

Join Something Positive for Positive People in collaboration with No Shame in this Game for an entire day of “playshops”, vendors, refreshments, raffles, giveaways, and more on Sunday September 29th beginning at 11am. Location will be given upon registration.

Each of our playshops are going to cover the following topics:

  • Stephanie Zapata - Kink Demystification: an Introduction to Kink

  • Dakota Ramppen - Reimagining Intimacy: What Queer Sex Can Teach Us About Pleasure

  • Evelin Dacker - The STARS Talk: Practicing Communicating Pleasures & Boundaries

  • Jordan D’Nelle Jones - Sensational Play: Incorporating ALL the Senses into Pleasure
